Two-dimensional art work
Two-dimensional artwork is defined as any work which is hung on a wall and is not supported on the floor or from the ceiling. All artwork is measured horizontally and includes the mat and frame.
Undersized artwork will be discounted. Work under 12 inches wide will be charged at $12.00 per piece.
Sculpture
Any piece not requiring wall support will be considered sculpture. Whenever possible, sculpture will be displayed away from walls to maximize the Gallery space available for two-dimensional art work.
A single sculpture which sits on the floor or a shelf space or which hangs from the ceiling will be counted as one piece.
Miscellaneous
Installations must be pre-approved by the Board of Directors through the special project proposal process.
In addition to hanging fees, there is a 20% commission on sales (gift shop sales have a 15% commission).
Wall sponsorship and art exhibits are available for purchase. Please contact us at 903-874-8996 or email us. Please include the following in your submission:

• Images of your work-slides, photos, printouts or any format except cd or disk
• Resume
• Catalogues/books
• Self addressed, stamped envelope for the return of the materials

Art Hanging & Summission Guidelines
If you would like to submit work for consideration, please send a bio and contact information along with 5 samples of your work to the email below. Include dimentions, medium and any relevant description of work. Limit each file size to 100k. Alternatively you can provide a link to a website with your work.
We our love artists. If it weren't for them we would not be in business!!
That being said we are inundated with telephone calls, email inquiries and artists’ material that are not appropriate for the type of art we show. To save you (and us) time and energy, please note the following:
• We exhibit traditional art forms such as painting, drawing, photography and sculpture.
• We are open to showing established and mid-career artists, as well and up and coming artist.
If you fit the above criteria you may submit your artwork for consideration. It could take approximately 3-4 weeks to review your submission.
The following schedules show the current fees assessed against artist who wish to display artwork at Jordan Art Gallery, and is based upon the definition of artwork as either two-dimensional or sculptural.
