Artist Statement
Born and educated in Toronto, Ontario, Lynn Soehner's paintings in acrylic are recognized for being graphically bold with rich, exotic colours, offering a kind of cadence or rhythm which evokes the "Spirit of Place". Soehner is affiliated with the Federation of Canadian Artists, Colour and Form Society, Society of Canadian Artists and Kauai Society of Artists. Soehner’s images are frequently used on consumer products and in magazines to convey the "feeling" of the location.

Soehner has attended OCAD, TSA, Instituto d’Allende, Belles Artes, and taken many private workshops. Soehner is an international professional artist with more than 500 images in private and public collections through out the United States, Canada and British Isles.
